Three Months

We’ve got roughly three months until the new year, the time when so many people say “ok, I am getting fit. For real this time.”

Q4 is when people start researching gyms so when January 1 rolls around, THEY. ARE. READY.

In the meantime, while researching gyms, they remain sedentary, and many go off the rails with eating and drinking because, hey, it's the holidays and they are starting January 1! In doing so, they gain weight and continue to feel lethargic, making starting even harder.

I am here to say this: START NOW.

You can do a lot in three months. For one, you can use that time to build a gym habit so that you are locked in come 2025. After all, it takes, on average, two months to build a habit. That’s why most people fail their new year’s resolutions by February.

And to be honest, it takes a good three months not only to build that habit, but to learn proper movement and really feel like you’re getting somewhere with your training.

You’ve got two choices:

  • Waste the last three months of the year, possibly putting yourself in more of a deficit.
  • Start now and enter 2025 with a solid fitness habit.

Whether you've fallen off your gym routine or have yet to ever start, give yourself the three months.
