The LumberJack 20 was a beast!

We not only offered the Lumberjack 20 on Saturday, but also on Sunday for those who missed it. It was quite an undertaking and took anywhere from 24 to 40 minutes. EVERYONE challenged themselves with weights and pushed far past their comfort zones.

The workout was a fitting tribute to those who lost their lives at Fort Hood.

Here's Kristi and Joe during the dumbell squat cleans, by far the hardest part of the WOD

Congrats, Rachel on your new PR, you made it look effortless! Thank you for letting me work in with you and for taking the weights down when it was my turn. Kristi,Vickie & Diane how did you do, any new PR’s?

We have alot of strong girls at crossfit. Great job Rachel. Kristi and Vickie also did great, I stopped at 95#, I am still so sore from Saturdays wod, (thats my excuse and I’m sticking to it).
We also have a muscle up girl in our box. Lets hear from everybody who wants to see the video of her. I do!!

My face is pretty pissy in the picture. It is saying “These DB squat cleans suck and I still have to run 400 m after this.” It was a tough WOD but I was really happy I came in and did it.
Wonderful job to everyone this morning. We had a full house and there were lots of people doing some high weight for themselves. Loved the little bonus WOD after the Push Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1. Could definitely feel the burn in my shoulders and back.
PS: The muscle up video needs to be posted fo sho!

thanks Sue…I probably wouldn’t of gone that high if it weren’t for your words of wisdom “you should be at your max weight halfway through” now it all makes sense 🙂 and by the way, i made up that lumberjack 20 and i agree with kristi in saying it’s worse than the filthy fifty
