I always use Don as an example of someone who has come a long way here at CFVB. I talk about the fact that he never worked out before jumping right in to CrossFit and that he lacked a lot of functional movement when he first started in April.
Fast forward nine months and Don is an entirely different person…he's an athlete! He can do weighted pull-ups, climb a rope, skin the cat, box jump, run, deadlift and more. Just recently, I witnessed him effortlessly back squat 225# with perfect form. Oh, and Don has lost over 25 pounds!
If I had to pinpoint the characteristic that has made him so successful, it's his great attitude. Don has added so much charisma and fun to our gym and he brought us his awesome wife, Sundra. Everyone loves The Edwards and we couldn't imagine CFVB without them!
