Paleo Check-in

One week down! How is everyone feeling?

Some of you are saying that you are feeling a little wiped out. If your eating was way off track before, this is normal. Hang in there. If you are hungry, eat! This is not a calorie-restriction diet. But, don't confuse cravings with hunger.

I've already heard reports of 5 lbs. lost. Great job! One more week of strict eating with no cheats, then you can work them in a few times per week. Remember the 80/20 rule (or even better 90/10).

Shout out to my Mama Shafranski. She gave up wheat and sugar a little over three weeks ago. She has lost nearly 20 lbs and she looks and feels great! She's totally into it and making great choices – eggs instead of cereal for breakfast, salads for lunch and she's passing up the dessert tray and opting for fruit. I'm so proud of her! If she can change her eating habits at age 69, you can do it, too.

7 front squat 225/155 (must clean weight from the ground)
400 m row
20 pull-ups


Four rounds, untimed
10 GHD sit-ups
30 double-unders

    Great Job mama S. I know how you feel right now getting rid of all that junk I have been putting in my body lately feels really good getting it all cleaned back up.
    Great team wod this past weekend, Bryan and I really enjoyed it and look forward to doing more of that coming up.
    The two wods today did drain me a little but I feel great right now.

    Thanks Wendy, I just checked it out it is an amazing photo along with the comments I will show Charlie when he gets home. The first thing my 5 and 7 year-old nieces asked when they watched him compete was “Where is Uncle Charlie’s fur? it took over an hour removing all of that hair for the competition!
