Sectional Qualifier Registration

Registration is expected to open at 4 PM today for anyone wanting to compete in the CrossFit sectional qualifier. Our section is the entire state of Florida. The 15 men and 15 women who make it to the regional qualifier will compete with athletes from six other states. The 4 men and 4 women who reign supreme at Regionals will compete at the Games!

For the first time, spectators are also required to register and pay $50 to attend. A competitor's registration fee includes one spectator pass.

Front Squat 1-10-1-20-1-30 reps

Record total load (add up all six barbell loads)

    It is great to come in and have so many different variations of exercises and wod, like today for example, how different was that. It was different and it was good!!
    All of you who are going to the sectional qualifier, good luck.

  2. I liked today’s WOD, too. It was good to work out with Bryan and push eachother. I told him that if I was to do this on my own at a gym, I probably wouldn’t have made all 30 reps at the end. Having someone push you makes all the difference. And I was grunting like Diane!

  3. After warming up to close to your 1 rep max, you load the bar and perform 1 heavy rep. Then, you take weight off so that you are pushing a weight that is challenging for 10 reps.
    Then, you put weight back on and push for 1 rep again. This may not be as much as your first 1-rep, as your legs will be fried. Then, take weight off to perform 20 reps…
    The 1-rep lifts should be heavy for you. On the consecutive reps (10, 20, 30), you should be struggling and burning by the end!

    Really great work out today; really like the weighted squat work outs. I have to remember, Elbows up and squat just past parallel.
