Rxs All Over!

Rxs All Over!

Because many women stay away from weight training and because they typically have less natural upper body strength than men, it sometimes takes longer for the ladies to Rx the WODs. Well, the women's time has come…we've been seeing Rxs all over the place!

Congrats to Shelli, Kristi, Sari, Kelly, Sue, Diane, Rachel… who have all Rxed WODs this past week with movements like kipping pull-ups, kettlebell swings, thrusters, hand power cleans and sumo deadlift high pull.

Who says women are the weaker sex?

Workout ofthe Day

Three rounds for time:
Run 400 meters
21 Kettlebell (55#/35#)
12 Pull-ups

First days of cooler mornings… love it. WOD was nice and short, too. Kristi is a new “Wendy” flying thru the WOD, at least when it comes to running and pull-ups… Good job!

I like the shorter distance runs like we had today. I am hoping they will help me in the 5K run this weekend.
Kristi, you are awesome and way too fast for me to ever catch up.
Good luck to Wendy and Rob this weekend in Tennessee.

  3. This blog entry was perfect for today. SaRi, Diane and Kristi all Rxed Helen during the 5 AM class. You ladies have come a long way…who else do you know that can bust out 36 pull-ups in a WOD? Great job!

Fantastic job to everyone this morning. I felt like Mondays WOD of the 800 m runs and 50 kettlebells prepared us for todays WOD.
I am so proud of all the ladies at CF. Keep up the awesome Rx’s. Wendy, you are a great inspiration to all of us! Good luck to you and Rob this weekend. I know you will do super!

What a Beautiful morning! Great job Diane ,Sari & Kristi on the RX’s this morning. Shelli, we know you could have RXed this one, but let that hand heal (ouch). Wendy are those Crossfitter’s resting on the truck watching her do Kettlebell swings? Or is it two guys wishing they could do that?
