Member Spotlight – Jason Odom

This month, Jason celebrates two years at CFVB, but it feels like we’ve enjoyed his presence so much longer. He’s a part of the afternoon crew, where he typically works out among his brother, Jeremy and co-worker, David…and a little friendly rivalry ensues. This smart, sarcastic guy came from the endurance world and has successfully transitioned into a CrossFitter, from competing in Vero Beast to doing weekly personal

sessions with Johnny that focus on strength. Jason is a dedicated family man, a hard worker and a loyal friend.

Here’s more on the man…

Occupation: Lawyer at Gould Cooksey Fennell, P.A.

Family: Wife Brooke, and children Ava, Caroline, Graham, and family dog Harvey Spector

Favorite CrossFit movement or workout: Nice long MetCon (without a time cap)

Favorite cheat meal: BBQ and bourbon

Hobbies: Spending time with the family, reading, and traveling with friends and family.  In 2014, I traveled to Brazil with friends to watch the U.S. play in the World Cup, and in 2015, we went to the Kentucky

Derby and saw the eventual Triple Crown winner American Pharoah win the Derby.

Little known fact about you: In my (much) younger days, I served in the United States Marine Corps.
