Good Luck Vero Barbell

Vero Barbell will be competing at the Southeast Classic this weekend. This meet was scheduled for last Saturday, but Hurricane Matthew prevented it. We originally had three lifters, but with the rescheduling, we now have one who will be able to make it. So….GOOOOO RICHARD!

Richard Mutterback will be accompanied by Liz, who will coach him through three attempts each on the snatch and clean & jerk.



Workout of the Day
Barbell warm-up

Every 1:30 for 12 minutes
1 snatch lift off + 1 power snatch + 1 low hang snatch

2 sets:
16 single-leg dumbbell step-ups (8 each side)

2 sets:
50 m kettlebell overhead carry (one KB in each hand)

2 sets:
200 m sandbag carry
100 meter sled sprint (90/50, light)
Rest as needed between sets
