Hurricane Matthew

It’s a little late, but I wanted to make sure to thank everyone for their

help and concern before and after the recent storm. We had lots of help securing the gym and then putting things away after the storm passes. This

made the task very easy! Rob and I were without power at home until Tuesday and our members who work for FPL, the county, etc. were inquiring and trying to do what they could. We got lots of invitations to stay with people. Members reached out to us to see if anyone else at the gym needed anything. It was a beautiful example of how caring and strong our gym family is.

We got SO lucky with this one! But others weren’t so fortunate. Joanne Duncanson brought to my attention a local charity that is helping in Haiti.

They are gathering donations through Friday, so if you’d like to contribute, please see here for details: http://www.missionaryflights.org/mfi/index.php
