Last Day of November

Can you believe tomorrow is December?! Reflect back on the year. What have you accomplished? What have you fallen short on?

Starting thinking of some goals…it's almost time to wipe the goal board clean and set some new ones for 2012.

This has been a whirl wind of a year for me! Throughout the year I lost 20 lbs, met my goal of a 135lb clean and jerk, PR’d my clean at 145lb, and also my snatch at 100lb. All the while I planned a wedding, got married, honeymooned, cruised the Caribbean with my best friends in the world and now I’m knocked up with twins! Absolute craziness…but 2012 was great!! Wendy and Rob have been great supporters through it all!

  2. Damn, Tara…when you put it that way, I don’t know how you will top 2011!
2012 will be a big change for you – in an instant, you will have two kids and you will be on the road to getting your pre-baby(ies) body back. The fact that you are working out consistently and eating as well as you can will be a big factor in bouncing back. We are proud of you!
As for 2012 for me…I have lots of little goals that will all work together to help me obtain the biggie: I want to make it to the freaking GAMES! There. I said it. Yikes.

  3. Wendy you are going to make it to the games in 2012 for sure.
2011, I got back on track with paleo and lost that stinking weight. I pr’d my clean and jerk with 95#. My shoulder is finally beginning to heal. My son got married, and I have new twin grandsons. Next year I want to be injury free and to continue getting stronger.

Wow.Those are some awesome accomplishments! I’ll be back in Vero next month at least until May. I can’t wait to get back to Crossfit Vero Beach and set some goals of my own.
