Thirteen started the Paleo Lifestyle Challenge eight weeks ago. Many made changes and formed new habits and are now reaping the benefits. It was very difficult to choose the winners. But they are…
Keesha Wynn and Scott Kochik!
Keesha lost a total of 10 pounds and has made lots of new habits. She maintained a great attitude during the challenge and had fun cooking new dishes for her family. She sent in her food log each week and it always looked great. She cheated on a few special occasions, but never went overboard.
Keesha set two lifestyle goals – to enjoy a family activity once per week with her husband and teenagers and to eat dinner with them at the table twice a week. She stuck to those goals and has commented that she had a blast visiting museums, etc. with the family. Her athletic goal of being consistent in the gym and in her kickboxing class was also met.
Her final comment to me at the end of the challenge was that it was an awesome experience and she's continuing with Paleo. Go Keesha!!
Scott's goal was to gain five pounds during the Challenge. Instead, he maintained the same weight, but COMPLETELY changed his body and most definitely added muscle (as evidenced by his before and after photos – amazing!). Scott travels constantly for work, but made a habit of packing healthy snacks and making great choices while eating out. His food log was fantastic.
Scott's athletic goal was to gain flexibility, so he worked on mobility on a regular basis. His lifestyle goal was to get eight hours of sleep per night. While he didn't always meet that goal, his sleep did improve drastically from before the Challenge. Nice work, Scott!
Congrats to Scott and Keesha! You both receive one unlimited month and you split the $325 pot.
