Lots going on at CFVB

Last week we announced Paleo Challenge that starts later this month. Check out the details HERE.

We also announced Vero Beast, which will take place on November 9.

This week’s announcement is the CFVB Girl’s Outing on Saturday, July 27 at 4 PM. We will be doing a beach crawl (no, this isn’t a WOD), where we bar hop over on the beachside. So, save the date! More details later.

Frame-by frame of the snatch (click image to enlarge). Notice how the athlete keeps his chest over the bar until he stands tall. His arms are not bent at the moment of full extension. He pulls himself under the bar to receive it and he squeezes up on the bar.
