MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – MIKE SANFORD

Rob and I have known Mike since high school (over 25 years) and he’s always been a great guy. He played sports all through school and, although not the top athlete, he

was the hardest working. And a friend to everyone. 

Fast-forward to two years ago and Mike reached out to me, frustrated. Overweight and sedentary, he needed a change. After a few months of back and forth correspondence, he joined the gym and hasn’t looked back. He’s about 60 pounds lighter and continues to make strength gains. He participated in the Open the past two years and is always supportive of all of our events and initiatives.
New life, new Mike, but one thing hasn’t changed: he’s still a friend to everyone!

Hobbies: coaching kids sports, Cooking , drinking wine, eating Peanut Butter, anything outside!!!
Little Known Fact: After college, I lived on a tour bus that travelled the US as an AV Tech for an Iconic magazines 50th Anniversary Club Tour. Visited 32 Cities in 4 months!! Quite the experience!!!
