Member Spotlight Power Couple – The Spallones
Sal and Tati are both highly-accomplished golfers who both dove in and drank the CrossFit Kool-Aid. This fun couple has been a welcome addition to the gym over the last year.
She’s a bombshell (one of those girls who can still manage to look cute after a sweaty workout, even at 6 AM!), but is still tough and gritty and eager to get stronger. She works hard, while also being her husband’s biggest supporter.
Me being from Vero, I grew up hearing Sal’s name and golf accolades often. When he came into the gym, he had to completely learn a new sport and be a “beginner.” As such an accomplished athlete that’s not always easy – it takes character and the ability to leave the ego at the door. And that’s exactly what he’s done. Sal really enjoys being coached and always asks for feedback, which is something all of the coaches love.
Both Sal and Tati participated in the CrossFit Games Open this year and they impressed us all with their drive and determination. They are always down for fun and like to support CFVB events, even coming dressed in full footie pajamas for our PJ-themed WOD!
