Introducing…Charlie’s Fitness Studio!

We are happy to announce that CrossFit Vero Beach and Charlie's Fitness Studio have partnered to create an athletic performance facility like no other in Vero Beach.

Charlie’s Fitness Studio specializes in customized personal training using the best and most functional weight equipment.  It is a smaller facility with an attentive atmosphere, by appointment only, in order to focus on the individual. The studio also offers rehabilitative and sports massage (Massage License #MA11741).                                                                                                     

Charlie’s Fitness Studio is owned by Charlie and Sue Clendening, life-long fitness enthusiasts, trainers and CrossFitters. Charlie’s professional experience includes 30 years as a martial arts instructor, 20 years as a NFPT Certified personal trainer and 20 years as a massage therapist.


No matter what your needs – rehab, strength and conditioning, weight loss, etc. – CFVB and Charlie's Fitness Studio can provide it!

    Food log for yesterday:
    – two pieces bacon, almonds, 1/2 apple
    – turkey breast, almonds, 1/2 apple,
    – boiled egg, 1/2 banana, few almonds
    – grilled chicken breast, carrots, cauliflower, almonds
    – 1/2 apple with almond butter for dessert. I was a hungry girl yesterday!
    Wendy, I need some new ideas on how to get fat. I am out of my almond butter for the next few days and that has been the only thing I have found that I like so far.
    I don’t know about you guys but I am sore from yesterday’s killer workout!

  2. Tara – your food logs have been perfect the last few days! For fat, use olive oil (either sautee vegetables in it or use on a salad), eat some fresh coconut or add coconut milk to a recipe (find a curry recipe and use coconut milk). Also, seeds, like sunflower are good in recipes or in salads.
    My food log from Tuesday:
    – protein shake (post-wod)
    – paleo pancake with blueberries, eggs
    – roasted turkey breast, nuts, cauliflower
    – tenderloin, nuts, cauliflower

What we love like us, is how committed & attentive Rob & Wendy are to their clients, fitness,nutrition& education. There is such a contagious energy at Crossfit VB and we enjoy participating with everyone there.

    It was tough getting back into the wod today after being gone for 10 days, but it felt great when we were done. I know I will be sore tomorrow.
