How Much?

Many people ask us how many days per week they should be doing CrossFit. To see real results, we recommend at least 3 days per week, 4-6 days is even better, depending on what your goals are. If you are committed to at least 3 days, then you will be hitting a variety of workouts and not just choosing to come in when the workout looks good to you.

And if you are committed to CrossFit as your training program, you don't need extra time in a conventional gym doing curls, leg extensions, tricep kickbacks and other non-functional nonsense.

Next time you're at CrossFit, take a look at the performance and the physiques of the people who choose CrossFit as their only method of training…that will speak for itself.

Push Jerk 3-3-3

then,

Three rounds for time of:
15 Hang power cleans 135/95
15 Burpees

  1. The camera is a great tool, catching the key point of the move, so you can see if you are doing the clean or the snatch just right. Am I shurgging, am I coming up on my toes to make the weight weightless?? I think mirrors whould be a great too also but I know with all the heavy weight dropping, wall balls and handstand pushups there is not room for “glass”. So just ask someone to watch you and let you know if you are doing those things. (Does this make any since)?????

  2. Yes, it makes sense, but you also need to know how to feel it. We can always videotape a movement if someone isn’t getting it.

    Mirrors would be a good idea so we can see what we’re doing wrong…and not just to look at ourselves..haha…well maybe a little

    Thank God, Wendy….Thank God! The last thing I need to see is the faces that I make working that. Or the faces of others for that matter…they make me laugh, especially Alex, who I will never stand next to during a WOD. It’s way to distracting!

    Heather will often say, “What’s that look for” and my response is always, besause it’s attached to my face. I don’t think I know what I look like while doing a workout and i am sure I don’t want to. Thank goodness you are not going to put up any mirrors up. I think there may be a good reason why your face is one of the few places you can’t see on your body!
