Food for Thought Friday
Last week, I forgot to order Fia’s Meals, which saves me so much time in prep and cooking. I was so mad at myself! But, then I thought “why not make this a learning experience for all and write some food-related posts.” So, off to the grocery store I went. I decided to stop into the Wal-Mart grocery store (on US1). I had never shopped there before (Publix is my regular grocery store and I also go to Fresh Market frequently). I already had lots of staples at home (coffee, eggs, cashew milk, rice, etc.), and Wal-Mart carried these regular go-tos, but I also came across some other great finds (at great prices). They had a quite a bit or organic produce and lots of convenient items (like steam-in-bag or microwavable) that were made from all whole foods. Below are some of the items I picked up.

All Natural Salsa
Red Lentil Pasta (made of only lentils, tons of protein and fiber)
Paleo frozen meals
Low carb, high fiber wraps
Gluten-free granola
Fruit, Veggie & Nut Bar
Bison
Grass-fed steaks
All-Natural Pork
Wild-Caught Fish
Cabbage
Kale Salad
Corn
Plantains
Steam-in-bag Sweet Potatoes
Microwavable Potatoes (with seasoning packet included)
