Chive

Attention Paleo people: local restaurant, Chive, has created two CFVB-approved sauces so that we have a healthy option for eating on the go. If you haven’t been to Chive yet, the concept is:

1) pick a base (salad, rice, wrap, etc. obviously, you pick the salad)
2) choose a protein (shrimp, steak, pork chicken, ahi tuna, etc.)
3) load up on other fixins’ (veggies, nuts, avocado, bacon, herbs, salsas, etc.)
4.) top it off with a sauce.

Everything is fresh and made from scratch, however many of the saucesĀ are dairy-based and/or not Paleo-friendly. But, now we can choose from an avocado-walnut dressing or a pineapple-honey vinaigrette. Go support this local establishment and tell them we sent you!

Chive is located at 1785 Old Dixie Highway. Visit their Facebook page HERE

Proof that a thorough warm-up (that gets your body ready for the movements you are about to perform) is necessary. It’s a good one!
