Member Spotlight – Brian Mooney

Chances are, Brian has lapped you on a cardio workout. Seriously, no one in the gym can hold pace on the Assault Bike like this guy! He came to us

last summer while on break from UF and we were sad to see him go when he left to finish his degree. But, lucky us…he returned after graduation.

Brian looks squeaky clean and innocent. He listens to rap in his headphones. He’s always smiling. He’s pretty sarcastic and funny. We just love the dude!

Here’s more…

Occupation: I graduated from UF in December and I have been at Aviator College in Fort Pierce working towards getting my commercial pilots license.
Family: My parents are Belinda (55) and Brian (56). I have two older sisters Jen (26), and Emily (25) and the cutest niece, Emma, who we welcomed to the family in August of last year.
Favorite CrossFit Movement: Anything cardio. I also like the rope because it gives me a false sense of confidence in my upper body strength.
Least favorite movement: handstand pushups. Despite my attempts, this movement always becomes a continuous series of falling into headstands due to my

lack of aforementioned upper body strength.

Favorite Cheat Meal: Anything that is going to ruin your diet. Especially drawn to free food or other people’s food when they’re not looking. I love Halo Top ice cream. I could write a one page review on each flavor of that

ice cream. Let me know if that’s something you’re interested in.

Hobbies: anything outdoors, running, hammocking. But also enjoy indoor activities (i.e. binge-watching House of Cards).
Little Known Fact: Every person in my family is either a pilot or flight attendant.
